Traveling Medical Assistant

Job Description

Part time Medical Assistant position in a busy Medical-Legal practice.

We are in search of a dependable Medical Assistant who is a self-starter, reliable and punctual.

This position requires you to travel to multiple locations throughout Southern California.

This is the perfect job for someone who likes to drive, meet new people every day, and not be stuck in the same office day in and day out.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrive at assigned offices on time and ensure that the office is clean and organized prior to applicant’s arrival.
Welcome all applicants and doctors with a warm personality and a smile.
Help applicants with all forms and ensure that they are properly filled out.
Assist the doctor/s during the evaluation.
Be able to take vital signs (Temperature, Pulse Rate, Heart Rate, and Blood Pressure)
Be able to record height and weight.
Must be knowledgeable about EKG and Spirometry testing.
Must be detail oriented in reviewing forms and uploading them in a timely manner.
Must be willing to travel to multiple locations throughout the greater LA area
Locations may include: Downtown LA, Palmdale, Baldwin Park, Moreno Valley, Orange County, Fontana, Torrance, Ontario, Riverside, San Bernardino, Temecula, Lancaster, Oxnard, Bakersfield, Van Nuys, Northridge, Sylmar, and San Diego

Qualification and Requirements:
Medical Assisting certificate required
Knowledge of Google Drive
Spanish speaking a plus but not required
Workers compensation experience a plus but not required
Valid CA Driver license
Valid Car Insurance

Schedule:

Part time schedule, on average 2-3 days per week, including some weekends and holidays.

Must have schedule flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
