Controller, Real Estate Private Equity (Atlanta or Cleveland)

JOB DESCRIPTION Tramview Capital Management (“TCM”) is seeking a Controller (Atlanta or Cleveland) to contribute to the firm’s growing real estate investment management business.

The Controller will be involved in all aspects of firm and fund operations, collaborating with team members on investment and leading operational initiatives.

COMPANY OVERVIEW Tramview Capital Management is a value-oriented real estate investment management firm focused on investing in institutional quality real estate in targeted growth markets across the U.S.

TCM was formed in 2020 by Rob Davies and Zach Segal, who have collectively overseen and managed approximately $5 billion of equity invested globally across the multifamily, industrial, office, and other real estate sectors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES General: Work closely with investment team members and related third-party providers including the fund administrator to manage the daily financial and operational functions of an entrepreneurial and growing real estate private equity investment management company.

Management Company: Oversee books and records, budgeting, third party contract negotiation and renewal, insurance regime, policies and procedures manual, federal and state tax compliance, federal and state registration compliance, HR function, entity structuring, bank accounts and funding, office expansion requirements, and IT.

Fund: Manage quarterly reporting, annual fund audit, tax compliance and structuring, fund LPA amendments and legal compliance, policies and procedures manual, third party contract negotiation and renewal, insurance program regime, subscription facility structuring and compliance, federal and state registration compliance, bank accounts and funding, entity structuring, capital calls and distributions, limited partner transfers, and fund investor closings.

Other related responsibilities assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 7 years of financial management experience including private real estate (e.g., accounting, audit, and tax).

Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting with a CPA degree preferred.

Expertise in accounting expense software (e.g., QuickBooks, Expensify, Xero).

Demonstrated leadership with various teams and processes reaching a desired outcome.

Highly analytical with excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with commitment to producing high quality, accurate work product.

Self starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
