Vice President Analytics, Insights and Intelligence

The VP for Analytics, Insights and Intelligence is a senior member of the team and leads the category management and shopper insights analytics developed in support of customer teams.

This position reports to the EVP of Analytics, Insights and Intelligence.

He/she is responsible for achieving the division’s revenue and EBIDTA targets, generating new business opportunities and managing business unit operations.

It is an important role in the leadership and development of the people who work day-to-day to support the customer-specific category leadership and brand growth priorities of our partners with winning insights.

Demonstrate a hands-on approach to learning and development of associates, identifying training needs for current and future roles and mentoring and guiding associates in their development.

Responsible for cultivating an environment where proactive, creative, and best demonstrated knowledge sharing is de rigueur amongst the team.

Ensure all work product is delivered on-time, on-scope, and delivers measurable value that maximizes client satisfaction.

Manage business unit resources to deliver EBIDTA objective.

Ability to anticipate future market changes so that resources can be adjusted accordingly; including planning for new revenue growth as well as customer shifts/consolidations.

Qualifications: Bachelors (BS or BA) Degree in Marketing, Math, Statistics, or Economic fields or equivalent job-related experience required; MBA, MS or relevant work experience preferred 12 years in sales and marketing CPG or food brokerage organization 5-10 years successfully managing a P&L, budgeting and forecasting, and managing client expectations either personally or through a team Experience in Brand Management, Customer Management, Category Management, and Shopper Marketing a plus 10 years managing direct reports; reporting directly to VP or C-level executive Strategic leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people, identify and prioritize opportunities and recommend appropriate tactics to achieve the strategic objectives to deliver quality results through others
