The Principal, Media & Entertainment is responsible for driving growth and providing technology strategy/delivery expertise within the Media & Entertainment industry.

The Principal provides subject matter expertise related to Media & Entertainment in the marketplace and to Point Bers across our integrated set of businesses (ISB) and collaborates with Media & Technology industry team.

The Principal is a proven leader and subject matter expert in the Media & Entertainment industry, brings C-suite relationships and cutting-edge industry depth and is an advisor to senior leaders about trends, challenges, and business opportunities.

This job internalizes, upholds, and models our leadership and culture tenets in all interactions.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: 

Take a leadership role in the development and growth of our Media & Entertainment practice 

Lead and advise client engagements across industry up to 80% travel to local and national clients

Lead and contribute to critical business and technology initiatives with top clients, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies 

Further your Media & Entertainment subject matter expertise through development of M&E clients, thought leadership, and development of our people

Partner with other subject matter experts in process improvement, organizational effectiveness, technology strategy/delivery, and others, as you bring solutions to our Media & Entertainment clients

Maintain deep industry perspective and utilize that perspective to drive customer’s thinking and strategies

Build strong client executive relationships

Exercise your entrepreneurial spirit and contribute to the firm’s growth as an employee-owner

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:

Applied expertise in the Media & Entertainment industry.

This can include strategic, operational and technical areas, key-initiative development and project or program management of transformative initiatives, digital transformation, data & analytics, full cycle system implementations and enterprise applications, business development and people development 

Business development (professional services/solutions) in Media & Entertainment

Strategy development with deep understanding of economics and business models within Media & Entertainment such as streaming, linear networks, theatrical channels, international expansion

Technology strategy and technical expertise as it relates to digital supply chain, data & analytics customer acquisition, content management, advertising platforms, marketing operations

Deep and proven track record in selling and leading multi-million dollar complex consulting engagements

Profit/loss responsibility for a large customer

Provided expertise and strategic insight to solving complex business problems, transformational initiatives and executive leadership in the area of Media & Entertainment 

Ability to communicate Point B’s solutions from the C-suite through VP/Director decision makers

Worked in a consultative or advisory capacity with external or internal stakeholders 

Executive presence; have proven yourself as a Media & Entertainment industry leader, for a minimum of ten years 

Worked as an effective leader across multiple business areas or in a cross-functional context 

Built a strong network within Media & Entertainment

Earned a B.A.

or B.S.

degree and preferably an MBA
