This role is responsible for the researching, piloting, & delivering Systems and Whole Life Engineering tools, automated solutions and best practices in support of the Raytheon SAS Engineering Solutions Systems Engineering (SE) team, which supports the requirements management, architecture, math & analysis, modeling & simulations, IV& V, and specialty engineering capabilities.The candidate must be an effective communicator with a successful track record of technical leadership.

The candidate should have an excellent working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and applications, and have the ability to insert and integrate applications into programs.

If you are passionate about optimizing program cycle time and engineering productivity by delivering world class solutions and support comprised of integrated tools, technology, expertise and processes, then this is the job for you!The duties of this job include but are not limited to:Support Raytheon Technologies engineering teams in adopting and efficiently utilizing strategic tools & processesBuildrelationships with lead Systems engineers across the Raytheon businesses to develop and deliver integrated engineering solutions and servicesParticipate in (and lead where appropriate) corporate engineering improvement initiativesChampion the deployment of new and existing integrated Systems Engineering solutions, and consult with programs on the implementationIdentify, document, and champion engineering automation best practices and improvements which help engineers be more productiveEngage strategic vendors for Systems Engineering technology evaluations and improvements which will address Raytheon needsAct as stakeholder for daily team SCRUM meetings, ensuring that team priorities are correct and impediments are quickly removedProactively manage priorities and organize work schedule in a dynamic, interrupt driven environmentRequires the aptitude to:Apply extensive technical expertise in Systems EngineeringFull knowledge of other related disciplinesDevelop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativityWork without appreciable directionExercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignmentGuide the successful completion of major programs and function in a project leadership roleRepresent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projectsInteract with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizationsRequired Skills:5+ years’ experience in the application of engineering tools/solutions in two or more of the following Systems and Software Engineering capability areas: Architecture/Modeling, Math & Analysis, Modeling & Simulation, Model Based Systems Engineering, Integrated Software Development Design, & Advanced Analysis & TestExperience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methodsKnowledge of at least three of the following systems engineering functions:Requirements development and management,Architecture,System design,Interface definition and control,Integration and test,Whole life engineeringExperience with Linux and AWS DevCloud server deploymentsExperience working in a multi-site Enterprise environment including facilitating cross organizational solutions in response to diverse objectivesSelf-directed with demonstrated ability to organize and provide technical leadership for a diverse (both geographic and technical) teamExperience with Microsoft Office suite of tools, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPointExcellent written and oral communications skills including presentation and negotiation skills, preparing management level briefings and summary explanationsDesired Skills:5+ years Program experience in roles of increasing technical leadership and responsibilityDetailed working knowledge (including day to day use on a program) of Architecture, Design, and IV& V Tools (e.G.

in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical degree and 5 years relevant experience.Clearance Requirements:Must be a U.S.
