Professional Requirements
Position Summary: The human resource coordinator provides assistance with human resource processes.

This role is primarily provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including front desk reception, record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.

Assists with processing of terminations.

Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.

Assists with recruitment and interview process.

Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.

Schedules meetings and interviews.

Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.

Files documents into appropriate employee files.

Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.

Prepares new-employee files.

Processes mail.

Minimum Education
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.

Minimum Work Experience And Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Ability to multi-talk.

Excellent customer service.

Preferred Work Experience And Qualifications
Experience working in an acute care setting.

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.

Required Licensure, Certification, Registration Or Designation
Los Angeles County Fire Card (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
