Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art Fair is the leading art fair for discovering emerging artists, with editions in cities across the world in Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, London, Melbourne, Sydney, and Toronto.

The Other Art Fair offers attendees unparalleled direct access to artists, alongside experiential programming, appealing to first-time art buyers and seasoned collectors alike.
We are looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator Temp to help support the upcoming edition of the Los Angeles (Sept 23
– 26) and Dallas (Oct 21
– 24) editions of The Other Art Fair.

As we grow, our need for a dedicated Marketing Coordinator Temp grows with us.
You’ll Report To: Marketing Manager
A typical day as a Marketing Coordinator Temp might include:
Local Area Marketing & Partnership Assist with cross promotional marketing opportunities (e.g.

newsletter inclusions and social media posts) Assist with reaching out to Private View partners (e.g.

members clubs and concierge services) Assist with local community outreach
– inviting local studios and art non-profits with complimentary weekend tickets Track partner redemptions and promotions Email & Social Media Marketing Collect assets and prepare images and links for email marketing, working with external partners and artists as needed.

Assist with email marketing schedule, providing reporting on open rates, click through rates, and other metrics.

Assist with contact list management Cold Call Campaign Calling local business to invite them to the fair Following up on email Grassroots Campaign Manage postcard distribution schedule Assist with hiring of brand ambassadors Manage brand ambassadors on campaign Website management Update website content and partner page with logos Asset Management Collect images, copy, URL links, working with external partners Assisting with Eventbrite and RSVP management Answer any general event questions Manage special onsite tour RSVPs Track artist RSVP redemptions and fair promotion
You’ll be successful if you love talking to people about cool new happenings, want to support emerging artists, have an interest in event marketing and are well organised.
What You Have
Events experience and an interest in event marketing Experience in Google Suite, Asana, Sprout Social, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Excel Excellent verbal and written communication.

You’re comfortable picking up the phone and talking to anyone.

Proactive, problem-solving mindset.

You are motivated to complete tasks on time and support the team’s goals.

Eagerness to wear multiple hats-no job is too small or too large.

You want to learn all you can.

An eye for detail and an appreciation for art.

You would be going to the Fair even if you weren’t involved!

Self-starter mentality-you work well when you’re self-directed, and are quick to ask questions.

BA or current enrollment in Art History, Marketing, Communications or other Business program.

Able to work 5 days a week.
