If this feels like you, we can’t wait to get your applicationAs a Construction Project Manager will oversee a variety of real estate projects across multiple brands throughout North America based in Los Angeles.

This role will be working with internal and external stakeholders, leading the team through planning, design and construction.

This position will report into Senior Director of Architecture and Construction.

Key Responsibilities include:Guide assigned real estate projects through planning, design, permitting, construction, occupancy, and grand openingEstablish, track, and maintain realistic project budgets and schedulesOrchestrate communication between internal and external team members including designers, architects, engineers, general contractors, manufacturers, and vendorsCollaborate with in-house design, marketing, and operations team to clearly define project goals, requirements, and visionReview all design and construction documents including drawings, specifications, RFI responses, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure design and operations complianceReview bid requirements thoroughly and selection in General Contractor selectionConduct regular site visits to ensure conformance with contract documents, quality expectations, and project scheduleMemorialize project evolution and milestones regular meeting agendas, meeting notes, and memorandumsResolves complex, construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreementsSuccessfully manage and execute the design and construction of 2 to 3 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity from $7M to $25M eachRequires travel to project sites as assigned.

Projects will be located all over the country and may require multiple days per visit Competencies & Qualifications:Minimum 5 years’ in management of multiple design and construction projectsBachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Construction Management is preferredExperience with fitness and/or hospitality retail construction projectsProficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and BluebeamMust be able to manage multiple tasks and have exceptional follow-up skillsAbility to review and direct the designers to produce meticulous Construction Document SetsAbility to read, understand, and comment on civil, structural, and MEP drawingsAbility to self-motivate and rely on personal judgment and experiences to achieve company goalsAvailability to work flexible schedules and travel as needed Why Us?Despite our rapid development, our founder and CEO Rainer Schaller has never lost sight of the fact that the focus is on people and their individual strengths.
