Orthodontic Dental Assistant $24 to $30 per hour We are a state-of-the-art, private orthodontic office in Santa Monica looking for a part-time Ortho Assistant (OA, DA or RDA) Compensation: $24-$30 per hour Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and 1 Saturday a month Ideal candidate has a bubbly, friendly and outgoing personality, who is comfortable working with children, teens and adults and that can make sure patients receive 5 star care/treatment.

Experience: Prefer candidates with 2+ yrs experience as an Orthodontic Assistant.

However we are also open to candidates that are trained Dental Assistants or Registered Dental Assistants with some experience with Orthodontics.

Prefer if you know how to use and operate iTero scanner and Dolphin Software however it’s not required.

Duties Include: Be able to perform all clinical tasks such as orthodontic chair side procedures,Fitting bands, Removing/placing archwires,Sterilization,Preparing patient for braces or Invisalign and ImpressionsOrthodontic photo seriesITero experience a bonusMaking essix retainers, Cast Models,3d digital scan x-rays.Chairside interaction with patientsFitting bands, Removing/placing archwiresPreparing patient for bracesInvisalign and Invisalign teenImpressionsTaking recordsFitting & cementing fixed appliancesAligner removal and replacementFamiliarity with lingual appliances and TADs a plusOther duties may include ordering and coordinating with orthodontic laboratories Looking to fill this position right away!
