We are looking for someone who brings their whole self to work, loves big picture thinking, and thrives in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment to be the Director of Marketing of BÉIS .

Reporting into the brand’s President but working collaboratively across the team and with Shay Mitchell, founder and CBO.

The Brand Director will own the brand narrative and be responsible for driving the strategy direction and implementation of highly effective omnichannel and global marketing plans, and other relevant projects, as assigned.

BÉIS is an ecommerce-based travel brand available direct to consumer, as well as on-line through a prestige retailer.

Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of both digital and consumer goods marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Create global marketing strategies and priorities for the brand; drive the development and execution of all marketing activities to generate brand awareness and drive growth, while ensuring that the brand leads the industry through our communications, partnerships, content and events.

Develop globally relevant content that aligns with the image, voice, and vision of the brand.

Oversee and execute brand assets from concept to creation, including photo shoots, design and collateral in coordination with the Brand Director and Digital team.

Build out product storytelling plan to ensure offering is differentiated and innovative in the market.

Oversee global brand narrative and omnichannel marketing plans, editorial content and social channels.

Manage global influencer strategy and accompanying programming including design collaborations, partnerships, gifting, events and celebrity relations/ Develop and maintain the brand’s marketing calendar, aligning with seasonal trends, supporting brand initiatives and driving performance in partnership with our external digital and social media agencies.

Generate global go-to-market strategies for both new launches as well as ongoing core programs, retailer partnerships, and other collaborations.

Run creative brainstorm sessions with the team to develop fresh and engaging content ideas to achieve business and storytelling objectives.

Lead the marketing team to nurture and grow our community; lead the development and oversee the execution of community management and influencer programs, experiential marketing programs, and the planning of nationwide events and activations to bring the brand to life and generate buzz.

Build global channel marketing strategy and oversee marketing deliverables that support sales channels including the brand’s direct-to-consumer ecommerce site, retail partner COOP opportunities, and more.

Set KPIs for different deliverables, analyze performance, report on learnings each month and deliver a positive ROI on all activity.

Establish a clear and comprehensive understanding of our global community (aka the consumer) to ensure the marketing strategy and tactics consistently align with their needs, trends and changing expectations.

Serve as a center of expertise for liaising with legal, tracking give activity, fulfilling commercial co-venture filings and implementing regulatory compliance processes across brands.

Manage brand’s annual marketing budget, reconciling monthly expenses against budget allocation and re-forecasting, monthly or as needed Work cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, Operations, Digital, Ecommerce and Creative Teams.

Manage marketing team and support development milestones and day to day.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Minimum 10+ years marketing and product marketing experience encompassing digital marketing, experiential, consumer goods and traditional brand marketing.

Proven experience developing and executing global and cross channel marketing plans and campaigns Experience with domestic and international celebrity, influencer and external agency management.

Expertise within the social, digital and influencer landscape with an emphasis on how brands leverage talent to support their overall advertising and marketing objectives.

Proven ability to strategize, build, plan, and execute an omni-channel marketing program.

Working knowledge with social media analytics, Google Analytics, etc., to drive content based off business trends.

Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.

Strategic and tactical skills with a startup mentality.

Strategic and flexible thinker able to translate ideas and concepts into actions and tangible results.

Detail-oriented with ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.

Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit with high comfort level in an evolving, fast-paced environment and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to build the brand.

The ability to work independently, quickly and think critically while managing multiple priorities and adhering to strict deadlines.

Adept at staying ahead of global trends and on top of emerging social media/marketing/e-commerce technologies to gain competitive insights.

Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity A positive and professional attitude with a team-player outlook and an outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
