Insight & Outreach Associate / Senior Associate

Enervee’s Market Development team is tasked with identifying and nurturing new business opportunities and conducting research that positions Enervee as an industry thought leader.

This position will be a key contributor to all aspects of Enervee’s Market Development efforts, dedicating your days to developing, analyzing and opening the door to pioneering new clean energy programs.

You will report to the VP of Market Development. Our Insight & Outreach Associate / Senior Associate can be located anywhere in the US and you will be working closely with team members and partners located in Pacific, Central and Eastern time zones.

How you will make an impact

The position will provide multi-faceted support for Market Development initiatives, including the following types of contributions:

Market Assessments.

Undertake & communicate up-to-date market assessments and implications for Enervee’s business

Research & Analysis.

Perform quantitative & qualitative data collection, research and analysis to derive market, behavioral, funding and policy insights

Thought Leadership.

Maintain a calendar of thought leadership opportunities and contribute to their execution via diverse channels

Advocacy.

Develop engaging visual and written materials, and contribute to outreach on emerging opportunities

Job requirements

What you bring to Enervee

Strong sense of personal integrity & accountability, intellectual curiosity and initiative in rapidly shifting environments

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of related work experience

Good mix of interpersonal, business and technical savvy

Talent for using data to create impactful stories – visually, verbally and in writing

Demonstrated proficiency and confidence in qualitative and quantitative research methods and data analytics techniques, software and tools

Mastery of personal time management and ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver on time under minimal supervision

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Desired qualifications:

Keen interest in residential energy efficiency, clean energy financing, equity and/or innovation

Consulting experience, MBA and/or other relevant graduate degree emphasizing quantitative methods

Experience with Looker or Tableau, SQL and a general purpose scripting language (e.g., Python, PERL etc
