The Strategy team is responsible for the design, development, and execution of strategic initiatives, with a focus on driving product innovation, content creativity, and audience growth.

The Strategy team oversees our corporate strategy, which includes expansion into new global markets, company growth through business acquisitions, and relations with third-party partners.

The team operates at the intersection of innovation and growth and helps drive progress towards Snap’s highest priority initiatives.

We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst to join Team Snapchat!

As a member of the Strategy and Corporate Development team, you will help execute projects that impact multiple areas of the business.

Working from our Santa Monica headquarters, you’ll collaborate with various teams across the company to help accomplish our strategic goals.

This position will report directly to the SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development.

What you’ll do:

Work closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to form internal strategies and drive consensus around key corporate goals

Develop strategic documents that prioritize our long term goals and areas of investment in partnership with product, engineering, operations and sales leads

Develop analysis around industry and competitive trends and have a view on how these trends affect our business and strategy

Maintain relationships with key industry participants, including potential targets, partners and competitors

Drive deal negotiation, financial analysis and cross-functional integration efforts for partnerships and acquisitions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance

Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with ability to operate cross-functionally at all organization levels

Intellectual curiosity and honesty

Understanding of corporate finance, valuation principles, and different technology business models and high level industry trends

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience

4+ years of experience working in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, venture capital, corporate development, or strategy, ideally with exposure to the consumer internet or TMT.

Preferred Qualifications:

Expert skills with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides or Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
