ERP Trainer

ERP Trainer Position Description CGI is seeking ERP Trainers to join our CGI team!

You will plan, develop, and provide customer focused training and development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, multi-media programs, distance learning/satellite training, video and web-based instructional training, and workshops.

This career opportunity is located in the Los Angeles, CA metro area.

Also, can be located at any other of our CGI US Western Region locations.

Those located outside the proximity of the US Western Region, this role can be performed in a modified client-site/remote arrangement.

Your future duties and responsibilities -Analyze and identify training & development needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing training within the organization-Revise and maintain up to date training content, materials/curriculum as required-Develop and organize weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual training, collateral manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials-Conduct and/or arrange ongoing product knowledge, technical training, and personal development classes for internal and external customers-Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors-Coordinate established courses with technical and professional courses provided by local area schools, educational vendors, and designate training procedures-Liaise with various departments/clients to produce effective content based training, determine additional training opportunities-Train internal supervisors and managers in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees-Ensure all required training requirements are conducted and documented for tracking and reporting purposes in training matrix database-Develop and maintain a training budget for organization, assess the return on investment (ROI) of any training or development program for internal and external customers
– Other duties as assigned Required qualifications to be successful in this role
– 5-8 years experience in Software Training preferably in an ERP environment-Experience developing end user documentation including Help Files, Manuals, Job Aids etc.-Knowledge of Financial Modules in ERP applications such as Advantage, PeopleSoft, Lawson, SAP and/or Oracle Est.

Salary Range (Colorado Only): $66K-$120K* *Disclaimer: In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, effective January 1, 2021, a good faith hourly or base salary range must be posted for all positions where the work may be performed in the state of Colorado.

Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
