This position is accountable for providing exceptional sales support to Regional Sales Managers (RSM), Brokers and Carrier Partners in a collaborative effort which results in increased sales, company growth, and promotes greater allegiance within the broader broker community.

This role effectively collaborates across all areas to ensure a positive customer experience that leads to sales results.

The central purpose of this position is to provide a customer-centric focus, model purposeful leadership, and drive sales results for RSM, Brokers & LISI.

Responsibilities and Duties Drives Sales Results Provides exceptional sales solutions that support the small group sales strategy of RSM Team Provides brokers with timely, solution-oriented responses to their new business needs Assists RSM Team in evaluating target brokers & deploying a plan for successful engagement Proactively communicates with brokers promoting sales opportunities Fields inbound and outbound calls on pre-sale benefits questions for new business Generates interest in complete LISI portfolio of products and services Conducts cold calls to prospective and targeted Brokers and sets up appointments for RSM team on warm leads Proactively reach out to renewing business to determine needs Upsell ancillaries at time of renewal Formulates and implements quoting strategy based on renewal Product Portfolio Knowledge Maintains strong product knowledge of complete LISI Small Group Portfolio Maintains strong underwriting knowledge Provides timely industry updates New Business Sales Coordinates new business materials for enrollments Helps set up enrollment meetings Follows up on all supply orders sent Collect new business materials and enters group into CRM Qualifications & Competencies Comprehensive database, HealthConnect and Carrier guideline knowledge Current CA Accident and Health and Life Insurance License Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Outlook and Excel Ability to manage competing priorities, and negotiate mutually successful outcomes Partner effectively with internal and external teams Mentor assigned employees and new hires to develop their full potential Consistently delivers a high standard of work, ensuring that LISI objectives are met Comprehensive organizational skills Clear, professional oral and written communication skills Solutions-oriented mind-set Experience & Education Two to three years of related experience; or equivalent of education and experience Insurance agency experience is preferred Inside sales experience is preferred Fluent understanding of carrier products and benefits Experienced and clear understanding of underwriting guidelines University Degree preferred Physical Demands Sit up to 8 hours a day, must be able to lift 5 lbs.
