Sterling Medical is looking for a Pediatric Rheumatologist to provide telemedicine services for Indian Health in Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles, CA, Las Vegas, NV and El Paso, TX. Job Requirements:
- Provide input for each resident
- Protect and support resident’s rights
- Organize, supervise, evaluate and administer the pediatric transplant program and comprehensive departments that support pediatric or adult components of UTC
- Participate in clinical training on topics related to pediatric home care nursing
- Develop the resident’s precepting and teaching abilities
- Drive the company vehicle for resident activities and appointments
- Ensure that resident counseling files are maintained to state standards
- Manage the physician/patient relationship
- Make all professional medical judgments in the care of pediatric patients
- Maintain confidentiality of resident’s personal information in and out of facility
- Establish and carry out a regular resident/community volunteer recognition program
- Keep the resident’s environment safe by picking up unsafe items on floor and mopping spills, positioning call cords within resident’s reach
- Make all professional medical judgments in care of pediatric patients

- Meet all the program requirements of a resident as outlined in the program requirements
- Recruit resident volunteers to meet the needs of the facility and other organizations in the community
- Provide a mechanism whereby the resident contributes to the development of pharmacy services within the community
- Initiate appropriate medication therapy based on age, disease, and drug considerations for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
- Develop specially trained pediatric nurses in the home care setting, while promoting The BAYADA Way and culture of the company
- Understand and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patients as demonstrated by effective documentation in progress notes and pharmacy
