Tax Senior

Our client a boutique CPA firm is looking for an ambitious Tax Senior to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and exempt organizations Perform tax research Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities Assist in federal, state and local tax audits Analyze and review financial statements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidates are preferred) Minimum 5 years tax preparation and accounting experience Proficient with Microsoft Office products Strong accounting and analytical skills Detail oriented and ability to multi-task Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including QuickBooks Knowledge of Ultra Tax/Accounting CS software is a plus Experience in financial statements preparation is a Plus
