LinQuest is seeking a Proposal Pricing Analyst to join our team at one of our locations. This position will be within LinQuest’s Pricing and Program Control organization. LinQuest is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong work ethic to excel in a high-paced Government contracting environment. The individual will play a key role in pricing strategies and will lead, develop, update, and maintain cost proposals for Government procurements. The cost proposals will consist of a cost model and narrative in accordance with estimating standards, procedures, and processes. We are seeking candidates with excellent communication and quantitative skills as this position will require frequent interactions with the Business Development Capture Team, Program Managers, Contracts, Subcontracts, Human Resources and other functional staff. Responsibilities: * Pricing support to both internal and external customers
* Development of cost models using Microsoft Excel to support proposal efforts
* Proposal narrative development
* Gathering, validation, and organization of finance data for estimating and analysis
* Performing budget calculations/analysis/forecasts
* Cost estimating in accordance with the Estimating System and Disclosure Statement
* Cost estimating of labor, subcontracts, materials, and other direct costs
* Cost estimating of travel in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
* Reads and understands Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements on proposal substantiation, basis of estimates, fact-finding, and negotiations
* Participate in cost and pricing reviews with the capture team and management
Required Skills: * Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Intermediate level of Excel knowledge (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, combination formulas, etc.)
* Intermediate level of Microsoft knowledge
* Ability to analyze and manipulate Microsoft Excel data
* Ability to prepare and present cost findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, and price auditors
* Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
* Strong knowledge of TINA/Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements
Preferred Skills: * Advanced level of Microsoft Office
Required Experience: * Bachelor’s Degree
* 3 -5 years’ relevant experience in the following areas:price/cost analysis, material estimating, proposals, accounting, finance,cost estimating, pricing, procurement, contracts or subcontracts
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
Preferred Experience: * Experience with approved business systems
