DeliLu is a well-respected 14-year old agency with more than 60 employees that are committed to meeting the developmental, physical, emotional, social, educational, intellectual and spiritual needs of at-risk youth being served.

We provide a therapeutic and social environment in which youth and their families can address issues to maximize the potential for their independence and success.

The Role

Perform administrative functions relating to the operation and implementation of a residential treatment facility’s (policy, program and budget) program in compliance with licensing requirements.

Supervise appropriate twenty-four (24) hour care for residents via staff personnel.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
Direction and evaluation of a residential treatment facility within the limits of the functions and policies established by the licensee.

Preparation of the facility’s budget and management of expenditures according to the facility’s budget limitations.

Organization of the work of the facility and delegation of responsibility to staff members.

Assessment of the facility operations and program; and reporting to the licensing, and making recommendations to address identified problems.

Recruitment, appointment, training, evaluation, and termination of staff.

Development of a plan for the orientation, development, and training of staff.

Review of complaints made by residents, or their placing agent and decision upon the action to be taken to handle the complaint.

Assist in developing written policies, procedures, and practices for continuous quality improvement.

Observe and interact with residents, staff, and other individuals, as necessary to ensure the quality of care for resident and program services.

Any other duties that may be necessary to manage and administer the short-term residential therapeutic program.

SR5 documentation Review of residents with an Individualized Education Program (IEP), if applicable.

Review of SIRs and Grievances, if applicable.

Employee observation, evaluation and documentation.

Review and documentation of the weekly assessment, communication log, medication log, significant event log, etc.

for accuracy.

Monthly distribution and reports.

Process home pass requests.

Inspections of facility exterior and interior for cleanliness, repairs, and needs for compliance.

Community liaison.

Supervise resident council meetings, in-house groups, and individual meetings.

Input in employee performance reviews.

The Administrator reports directly to the Director of Deliann Lucile.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, specifically human services Administrators Certificate (Required) 3 year of experience serving at-risk youth in a licensed facility Valid CA Driver’s License Meet all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility
