Lumenos Technologies is a growing low voltage contractor, and we are seeking to hire another qualified and experienced field technician for our projects in the LA metro area.
Preferred qualifications: * 8+ years of copper and fiber structured cabling for both networks and telecom in commercial environments, especially retail* Experience performing service calls and troubleshooting in a related field (electrical, IT, telecom, etc.) * Experience/knowledge to complete basic IT related tasks such as simple networking configurations and hardware troubleshooting* Experience working with point of sale hardware Required qualifications: * 3+ years of experience in low voltage work, telecom, IT, or a skilled trade* Basic familiarity with IT systems, and the ability to identify rudimentary components of phone systems and computers* High aptitude to learn the basics of a variety of skills on a variety of systems* Ability to accurately follow detailed installation guides and/or blueprints* Knowledge of construction safety and commitment to safe practices This role will lead large, multi-month projects and should have demonstrable experience planning work, acting as a working foreman on small crews, and documenting work performed.
