Bilingual English/Spanish CHST Safety Supervisor needed for the Los Angeles area.Safety consulting firm is looking for Safety Personnel with a significant amount of experience in the commercial construction building industry.Responsible for the overall safety of day-to-day construction activities.Interfacing with clients, designers, agencies, staff project manager, and superintendent.Subcontractor supervision, coordination and safety over site.Developing and analyzing safety schedules as well as scheduling and tracking all field safety.Participation in a team environment and have the ability to accept responsibility.The ability to read, comprehend and implement contract specifications in English as well as Spanish.Good written, verbal and computer communication skills in both languages is a must!Conducting safety Inspections for all phases of work.Responsibility for maintaining the QC software and timely reporting.Preparation and Initiation of the site specific safety plan.JOB REQUIREMENTSQualifications: ENGLISH/SPANISH SPEAKER3-5 years experience in a progressively responsible safety role.A dedicated self-starting, driven team player with a good attitude, work ethic, and integrity.
An ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
