Soulmate is looking for dynamic and experienced bartenders to join the team of our exciting new restaurant!JOB DESCRIPTION:* Responsible for activities related to service of the restaurant, which includes preparation tasks, training and performing service as per standards set by management.* Maintain the cleanliness of the bar including all storage and service areas.* Accurately prep, label, and date all ingredients used for bar service.* Perform a friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in: Greeting, seating and waiting on all guests.* Perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standards.* Understand and accurately follow the sequences of service.* Ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques for all meal periods.* Have complete understanding of all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.* Explain all food and beverage menus listed on the menu in details.* This description is not exhaustive of all job tasks but a guide, and may be added or removed by management according to changes that may occur in the working environment.JOB REQUIREMENTS:* At least 2-3 years of previous experience in a (high-volume/fine dining) restaurant* A strong service background* Advanced knowledge of food, wine, spirits & craft cocktails* An extreme sense of hospitality and effective communication skills* A flexible schedule* A highly motivated and energetic personality with a willingness to learn and work as a teamCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS* Food Handler Card* Proof of eligibility to work in the United StatesJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 per hourSchedule:* Holidays* Night shift* Weekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:* TipsExperience:* Bartending: 2 years (Preferred)* Restaurant Experience: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location:* One locationWork Remotely:* No
