Job Profile: Assistant F& B ManagerReports to: F& B ManagerJob OverviewLead, mentor, and train the F& B colleaguesEnsure F& B relevant brand standards are maintainedStrategize on new products and service offerings, then execute those offeringsCreate unforgettable guest experience; manage guest recovery if neededAssist in the daily F& B floor operations in all capacities, occasionally as the sole F& B manager on-siteAssist with inventory management and cost controlsAssist with scheduling and labor controlsAssist in the development and implementation of F& B promotionsAssist in the execution of Catering/EventsEnsure a clean and safe working environment with continual emphasis on promoting colleague/guest health and safetyOther job functions as required by F& B Manager, Director of Operations, and GM Job ScopePerforms duties independently with guidance and direction provided by F& B ManagerDemonstrate a guest-driven service style with a sense of urgencyBalance operational needs with administrative requirementsDemonstrate problem solving skills balancing guest satisfaction with revenue generation QualificationsPrevious Hotel F& B management/supervisoryexperience preferredExcellent verbal/written communication and guest service skillsAbility to stand for majority of shiftAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsExcellent judgement and decision-making skillsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule consistent with the needs of the propertyCompany OverviewProper Hospitality is made up of a diverse group of passionate individuals who share a common love for hotels and the art of hospitality.
