About the Position:
The Quality Control Inspector will examine units at different stages of the production process for any defects that deviate from quality standards.
The applicant should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
:
Reading and understanding architectural plans and specifications Monitoring production and construction operations to ensure they meet quality standards Visually detect incorrectly applied materials and/or common building mistakes Log inspections and compile reports in Monday.com, Google sheets and/or Procore Review inspection data with supervisors and other parties Improve upon existing processes, as well as develop and implement new processes, for quality control logging and reporting
Requirements
:
Design or architectural experience a plus Previous exposure to construction of Type-V or modular construction Basic knowledge of building materials, assemblies, methodologies and defects Detail-oriented and self-motivated Able to meet deadlines while also maintaining a high attention to detail and quality Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills Able to communicate effectively with on-site teams and management Valid California driver’s license
