Growing Manufacturing Company in Downtown Los Angeles area seeks a Senior Accountant.
This position requires hands on accounting experience within the manufacturing sector.
You must be comfortable in all aspects of the financial close, P&L forecasting and budgeting, cost accounting and inventory audits.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly forecasts and variance analysis Inventory control; inventory counts and costing Prepares budgets and forecasts cash requirements for estimated sales goals Prepares timely reports including analysis of financial data, statements, and cash balances based on past, current, and anticipated operations/sales ERP systems knowledge
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years in of financial and cost accounting, financial close and reporting experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to analyze and interpret financial data including reports, statements and projections Strong communications skills (verbal and written) Be approachable and have the ability to work independently as well as on a team.
