About the UX team and position:
We’re looking for a UX Designer with an insatiable curiosity to rethink how people interact with Carvana’s digital products.
You possess an understanding of human centered design, UX best practices and design for e-commerce experiences.
Like other team members, you strive for the highest level of craftsmanship in design and presentations.
You are a determined advocate for our end user.
Proactivity and accountability are traits that describe your approach to work.
This individual will pay very high attention to details that closely align with business goals and user needs.
About the UI team and position:
Carvana designers are makers and storytellers that use design to transform businesses and create culture.
They are highly motivated self-starters and disciplined team-players who always find a way to make things happen.
They lead multidisciplinary projects into uncharted territories without blinking.
They’re design fundamentalists, but approach projects with rational and innovative mindsets.
They are always mindful not just of how it looks but how it works too.
UI Designers are responsible for owning and executing small, medium and large-sized projects with minimal oversight.
Carvana’s UI Designers guide larger initiatives with direction from Team Leads and Directors.
This role understands how long it will take him/her to complete tasks and can accurately budget time.
UI Designers are also responsible for delegating work to more junior team members and accurately accounting for their time.
UI Designers are also responsible for self-starting initiatives like calling out deficiencies in current experiences and ecosystems.
They are also responsible for keeping an eye on competitors and best in class experiences that may impact or benefit Carvana.
