Overview of the Account Executive
This position promotes growth and new business development with focus on brewed beverage (coffee and tea), bottled water and water filtration sales in the B2B, Food Service and Hospitality markets.
Responsibilities
Influence account decision makers in order to achieve sales volume and margin targets within assigned territories.
Utilize CRM, Lead Maturation and needs based selling processes to attain new business targeted growth.
Leverage the companys broad range of products, equipment and services to effectively meet customer needs.
Cross-sell products and services to our existing customer base as well as prospect for new business.
Influence account decision makers in order to achieve sales volume and margin targets within assigned territories.
Develop and manage productive business partnerships with co-workers networking groups and potential clients.
Effectively communicate the full range of available products and services offered.
Execute all marketing and sales programs to drive incremental volume.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with prospecting for new business, cold calling, business developing, and cross-selling to an existing customer base.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience utilizing a CRM preferred.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide outstanding customer service, placing customers needs first .
Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence people in order to sell products and services to existing customers .
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize many different needs and requirements.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed.
Ability to meet DS Services Driver Qualification Policy; Valid Class C license.
Travel in personal vehicle required to and from prospective customer appointments and DS Services locations within assigned territory.
Ability to pass Company pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
