The Partner Success Manager role is critical to the success of the company?s revenue model. As the Partner Success Manager, you will be a key contributor to a high-performing team that consistently delivers market-leading retention rates. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Sales, Demand Gen, and Customer Success teams to drive revenue growth via strategic partnerships. This role requires a combination of experience in navigating the intricacies of the State, Local, Education (SLED), and Federal market as well as developing key partner relationships; strong business acumen. This role relies heavily on personal accountability for results and a willingness to go the extra mile for joint customers.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage Partnership accounts and relationships.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to understand the business needs of the partner and their members.
- Educate other teams as needed on the specifics related to the needs of the members of each partner relationship for which they are responsible.
- Facilitate the transition of partners from onboarding into the adoption stage, and ensure competency levels are sufficient.
- Work closely with a team trainer in the delivery of services to the partners.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of partner educational resources, programs, and materials.
- Assist in the coordination of conference attendance and presentations.
- Develop and maintain partner success programs that will increase and sustain product usage and adoption.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders by networking between the partner, customers, and the company team
- Serve as an escalation point for issues that impact the partner.
- Use analytical reporting provided and assimilate the information into a manner that can be effectively communicated to benefit the partner and provide organizational direction and solutions to improve performance and drive positive results.
- Assist in the planning and follow-up for a diverse range of partner retention campaigns.
- Facilitate and oversee marketing engagements to ensure effective outreach, messaging, and segment education
- Oversee partner pipeline development and help work through any roadblocks
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications and Qualities
- Bachelor?s degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience in previous Customer Relationship, Business Analyst, Project Management, or Account Management position
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and relentless drive to achieve results; operates independently with minimal supervision and direction, and as part of a team
- Uses rational and emotional drivers that would appeal to partners to drive compelling business conversations and momentum.
- Ability to tailor communication to Partner needs with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong desire to learn and ability to master new technologies within a relatively short period.
- An executive presence and driven to interact with the senior leadership of the partnering agencies
- Ability to work with and interpret raw data and generate reports.
- Process minded and results-oriented able to meet deadlines, manage stress, and prioritize effectively
- Ability to analyze partners and associated member’s learning needs during onboarding
- Develop training plans according to user’s specifications.
- Salesforce or CRM knowledge
