Business Development Officer

Description We are seeking a strong Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our rapidly growing Nevada-based trust company.

This individual will be responsible for building a sales organization within our trust company including developing and cultivating a referral network of attorneys, accountants, registered investment advisors and multi-family offices.

The ideal candidate has extensive business development experience, preferably in the fiduciary services sector.

This individual should have an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for growing our new retail trust company from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities * Develop a top-notch business development department within our new trust company* Create and execute a marketing and business development plan to solicit new trust business in the ultra-high net worth sector ($100MM +).* Manage the sales process and sales pipeline using Salesforce and other integrated software applications* Partner with ultra-high net worth clients and their advisors to develop appropriate Nevada trust and estate planning strategies.* Participate in and represent Wealthgate at relevant conferences nationwide.* Provide client and partner focused service with responsiveness, professionalism and tact.

Qualifications * Bachelor?s degree or higher; JD, MBA, CFP or CTFA highly preferred.* At least 5 years?

experience with a track record of business development.* Have the ability to travel up to 10-15 days during certain months.* Self-motivated individual able to work in non-structured environment.* Capable of reviewing trust documents, interpreting complex family structures and negotiating fees.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be discreet and reliable, able to handle and protect highly confidential financial and personal information, internally and externally.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
