You’ll Report To: Manager of Software Engineering
A typical day as a Lead Software Engineer might include:
Lead the iOS mobile development team to develop and deliver architecture and new product features for our iOS application Mentor and grow software engineers on the team and improve engineering processes and tools to increase team effectiveness Work directly with the product team and business focused teams to deliver a high-quality product to our users Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on tight schedules
You’ll be successful if you are capable of growing the team skills and the app
What You Have:
Graduate degree in a technical field or minimum of 5 years of directly related experience, 2+ years experience in leadership in a software team Object-oriented design and programming in Object-C and Swift, experience in mobile design patterns, building mobile frameworks, SDKs, and app performance optimizations Knowledge of software engineering practices including writing testable code, clean architecture and other software patterns, conducting code reviews, source control management, build processes, and developing and maintaining coding standards Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to communicate with a diverse audience, both technical and non-technical Not afraid to wear multiple hats–no job being too small or too large We’re casual and informal but we work hard and work responsibly.
