We are a worldwide company with over 70 stores in nearly 35 countries and eight offices all over the world.

Position Summary: AREA MANAGER WEST COAST

The Area Manager is responsible for multiple stores in one given area. They are responsible for ensuring the execution of company standards and maximizing sales, as well as being responsible that the stores are in accordance with the Company’s visual and operational standards. The Area Manager is responsible for the overall recruitment, training and development of talent and performance management of their territory. The Area Manager reports directly to the Director of Retail.

Role Responsibilities:

·        Attract, hire, develop, inspire and retain top talent to achieve company set store goals.

·        Develop both short term and long term sales objectives for stores and partner with Director of Retail to ensure stores keep on target.

·        Work in partnership with the Director of Retail to maximize sales potential by coaching employee behaviors.

·        Regularly be in the market to network with and be aware of top talent at other retailers.

·        Work in partnership with the Director of Retail to create consistency amongst stores to align best practices and operational efficiency.

·        Hold Store Managers accountable to achieving sales, inventory and KPI goals.

·        Maximize scheduling, recruiting and coaching skills to help store meet or exceed sales goals.

·        Set goals and manage to expectations through clear communication of sales; operational procedures; performance standards; dress code and all other company policies and procedures.

·        Focus on new store growth, as well as stores that are underperforming.  

·        Drive profitability and promote an entrepreneurial spirit in all aspects of store operations while remaining brand appropriate.

·        Work with Training Manager to enhance training experience in stores and to promote the use of Product Knowledge as a tool to enhance employee productivity, sales, and service levels.

·        Focus on new brand initiatives to create excitement behind the tools, hold teams accountable for using the tools to grow the business, and provide feedback.
