POSITION SUMMARY
The Respiratory Care Practitioner 1 at Asante supports the team of respiratory care professionals by providing routine services to non-critical patients care areas.  This position is transitional in nature and is designed to prepare the practitioner for advancement to respiratory care in adult critical care. 
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience  
  • Six months clinical experience delivering respiratory care in non-critical care environments typically required; however New Grads (with strong recommendations) will be considered
  • Previous entry-level respiratory care experience, preferred
Licensure
  • Respiratory Therapist (RT-P) licensed by Oregon Health Licensing Office (HLO) required upon start
  • Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified from American Heart Association, preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by American Heart Association, preferred

  • Word processing, keyboarding, Windows preferred
