You will be handling all aspects the trust and estate administration process. This will include drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents and correspondence, including inventories, asset allocation agreements, Judicial Council forms, asset transfer documents, probate pleadings, Spousal property petitions, Heggstad petitions, fiduciary reports, grant deeds, trust transfer deeds, and supporting documentation as needed. You must have experience with 706 and 709?s along with current experience with estate and gift tax return experience. You will also organize and analyze asset information, assist with the valuation of assets and strategizing proper allocation to sub trusts, act as a liaison between clients and attorneys , and assist with Estate and Gift Tax return prep. Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of trust & estates legal assistant or paralegal experience
  • Must be familiar with 706/709 local court rules and procedures
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
