Account Manager/CSR – Commercial Lines

Leading Insurance Company, AssuredPartners, is seeking a Commercial Lines – Account Manager/CSR!

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (with half-hour lunch) or 5:00 PM (with one hour lunch) – flexible starting earlier is fine as well 

Location: The ideal candidate can work in the office full-time or hybrid at 2913 S Pullman Street, Santa Ana, CA 92705. However, we are open to remote work if the candidate is qualified, resides in California, and carries an active CA State Property and Casualty License.

Commercial Lines – Account Manager/CSR Role Summary:  

The Commercial Account Manager/CSR is responsible for providing day-to-day support of Property & Casualty insurance programs for an existing clientele. This position will follow the direction of the Commercial Lines Supervisor. The Account Manager/CSR is responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Commercial Lines – Account Manager/CSR: 

  • Processes change requests/endorsements, binders, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit, and account balance status when requested. Ensures that these items are given to the client in a timely manner. Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients. Responds to requests from clients and insurance companies. 

  • Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.

  • Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. 

  • Cross-sells products to potential clients, as needed.

 

Skills and Qualifications of Commercial Lines – Account Manager/CSR: 

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                                      

  • Property and Casualty (P&C) License

  • A minimum of five years of Commercial Lines customer service experience, construction book highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university preferred 

  • Experience in Agency Management Systems (AMS 360, TAM, EPIC or Equivalent Insurance Agency Management System)

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
