Cinevative is looking for skilled Assistant Editors who can work from home and are able to self-manage from beginning of projects to delivery.
Must be able to work at a fast-paced schedule; communicate clearly virtually with the team; meet swift deadlines; effectively take-on notes from clients, Cinevative Producer and our Creative Director; be a team player and have a great attitude!
This project will require easy editing (from a timecoded script) and heavy organization.
Assets are not large, but there will be a lot.
Cinevative can provide an external hard drive to work from.
Will work closely with the Staff Producer and Creative Director at Cinevative.
**Cinevative is unable to support 1099 / Independent Contractor arrangements at this time unless certain requirements are met (i.e.
if you have an S-Corp, LLC, or Corp set up) Due to the AB5 law in California, all freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document forms upon hire.
SKILLS
1-2 Years Professional Experience with the following software: Adobe Premiere and knowledge of After Effects/Photoshop is a plus.
Ability to keep multiple video assets organized, all versions of edits archived, etc.
Knowledge of audio mixing a plus
