Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for a Senior Production Integration Analyst to support the Satellite Common Products organization based in El Segundo, CA.Production Integration (PI) is a function within the Satellite Common Products organization. Your day to day will be supporting Common Products management while working with Integrated Product Teams and Operations focusing on factory schedule alignment, readiness and execution. This includes capacity and demand management to ensure we optimize resource utilization across our product lines.Position Responsibilities:Project Management* Directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan* Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management* Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans* Develops project plans and deliverables, directs all project phases and acts as primary contact to project stakeholders* Participates in or develops mechanisms for establishing, monitoring and integrating project elements, product configuration and communications concerning change management processes and decisions* Uses trend, variance analyses and risk assessments and mitigations to develop plans or to recommend changeDevelop, Maintain and Analyze the Production Pipeline* Analyze & Help Resolve Schedule Alignment Issues between scheduling systems (MRP &/or IMS)* Generating program specific pipeline, resource metrics and artifacts* Capacity Planning, Analysis of Current Program and Future Business Opportunities* Analyze and present production data to key stake holders, customers, and leadershipResource Management – Facilities, Equipment, People* Resource Alignment in production scheduling system (Proprietary and Unclassified Systems)* Manage allocation and coding of Resources in Production schedules and systems* Identifying constraints and assisting Factory and Operations managers with staffing priorities and mitigation plans* Use resource management modeling software to make informed decisions on planning resource allocations and improving project efficienciesLeading Change: Enterprise Transformation Efforts (Lean & Process Improvements)* Lead or Support Project Initiatives – Planning, Document Processes, Implementation* Working with Data Analytics to create metrics and reports that support Common Products delivery of hardwareBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)* This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program* Bachelor’s Degree* Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools* Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Project and/or other scheduling software* Minimum 1 year of experience in capacity and demand management* Experience with product life-cycle management applications and dataPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)* Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing operations or related technical field* Experience with manufacturing or operations execution* Knowledge of production processes and standards* Knowledge into Boeing used systems: Teamcenter, MESci, and Alchemy* Proficient user of Microsoft Project Server and/or Project Web Application (PWA)* Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) CertificationTypical Education/ ExperienceEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).RelocationRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
