Friends At Work is looking for a Freelance UI Designer (Marketing Slant) in Los Angeles County, CA, USA .
About

We are looking for an UI Designer who is a team oriented and self motivated individual to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has designed user interfaces which include interactive apps and has operated at the intersection of product and marketing.

This role has a heavy emphasis on marketing for brand redesign.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Design with a user need centric approach, within a Design System and brand guidelines.

Develop new solutions that extend the existing system without compromising brand or user need.
Deliver high fidelity designs working with UX
Understand how to tell the story for a brand while bridging the gap visually for engaging and functional interface designs
Experience bringing concepts and narrative to life with graphic design for users through their journey in the product.

Write guidelines and design specs for new and existing components (design only, not dev)
Design and Stress test UI elements cross system, device, breakpoints and additional user touch points.
Maintain UX best practices and Accessibility standards within all UI design.
Expanding brand color palette for a larger UI system
Maintain a high attention to detail and hands on to deliver final, pixel accurate comps and prototypes.
Communicate product design goals, design decisions, internally and to stakeholders.

Work collaboratively with internal and client side teams and stakeholders.

At least 4 years of experience as a UI Designer with an emphasis on marketing
Cross-platform web & mobile development experience (iOS, Android, etc.)
Approachable, collaborative, results-oriented, problem-solver who can both provide and take direction well
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail, extraordinary organizational and analytical skills are a requirement
Degree in Design or related creative field.

(e.g, graphic, visual communications, interaction, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field
Proficient in Adobe Suite, GSuite, Figma, and Sketch.
