Responsibilities:

The COVID-19 Compliance Officer will provide COVID-19 safety plan oversight and enforcement to onsite cast and crew.
Essential Functions
  • Facilitate training and education on health and safety with cast and crew
  • Oversee and monitor physical distancing, testing, symptom monitoring, disinfecting protocols
  • Provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) education, protocols and ensure adherence
  • Implement policies and procedures related to infection prevention practices including COVID-19 prevention, disinfection and PPE
  • Must always be accessible in the workplace during work hours to all cast and crew
  • Proactively engage with cast and crew to ensure they are adhering to COVID-19 safety plan
  • Other duties may be assigned related to workplace safety

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid California RN or LVN license
  • Must hold current BLS certification
  • 3-5 years nursing experience preferred
  • Experience working in an infection control program as it related to: Prevention of exposure to infectious diseases; reduction in the transmission of infectious agents; and evaluation of infection control programs
  • Knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodology of nursing and infection prevention and control practices
  • Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating of policies and procedures relative to infection control
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Critical thinking skills a must
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance to company policy and procedures
  • Take initiative on issues that arise daily
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job-demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations
  • Ability to create and edit written materials
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
