Quality Temp Staffing is currently seeking a California licensed Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: Continuous (Ongoing)
Shift: Day shift and on-call after hours
Hours: 32-40/week
Job Qualifications
· In this role, the successful candidates will function as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and perform a variety of technical procedures serving all patients.
· Ability to perform multiple Nuclear Medicine exams including but not limited to Cardiac rest and stress, HIDA, Bone scans and thyroid scans.
· Conducts diagnostic and evaluative studies and provides therapies by utilizing the nuclear properties of radioactive and stable isotopes.
· Comforts patients and their families by answering questions; responding to requests; explaining procedure and nuclear medicine equipment.
· Maintains nuclear medicine equipment and supplies by cleaning equipment; troubleshooting problems; performing preventive maintenance; arranging for repairs; maintaining supply inventory levels; completing and placing supply requisitions; restocking supply storeroom.
· Must be able to train at multiple locations and take reliable notes.
· Must be able to adapt to different protocols for hospitals in addition to outpatient facilities.
Job Requirements:
License/Certifications:
· NMTCB or ARRT (N)
· California Department of Public Health – Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (NMT) – All Scopes Defined in Section 30533, Plus Venipuncture
Additional Job/Health Requirements:
· CPR Card from California Heart Association OR American Red Cross.
· Current PPD/TB or Chest XR (Within past 12 months)
· MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B – Vaccination Records or Titers
