As a *Senior Market Specialist* for *Robinson Fresh*, you will be recognized as a fresh produce supply chain industry expert who is responsible to manage and grow a customer portfolio through the buy and sell of produce commodities and fresh food supply chain services.
You will develop relationships with senior leaders to provide opportunities that would lead to other products and/or service offerings.
The focus will be on cultivating supplier and grower relationships by managing supply opportunities to a portfolio of accounts within the fresh produce industry.
The Senior Market Specialist will be responsible for setting the regional strategy, leading direct reports and influencing related teams to execute the plan they put into place.
*Responsibilities:* * Grow a portfolio with existing customer accounts to maximize revenue based on customers’ needs and the goal of establishing long term, programmed, profitable programs * Continually sell fresh produce supply chain solutions with a focus on transactional business and excess supply opportunities* Develop long lasting relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organizations * Create solutions based on customer needs utilizing your knowledge of the market and our portfolio of services* Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service * Drive proactive and constant communication to ensure both day-to-day and long-term customer expectations are met * Provide opportunities to customers that would lead to other product and/or service offerings* Build strong relationships with customers (including C-Suite) that gains entry points to business and allows for opportunities, staying in constant communication to ensure day to day and long-term needs are met* Keep up to date on current and future market/industry trends to ensure you are driving proactive opportunities with your customer portfolio through ads, opportunity buys, supply chain services, etc.* May provide daily coaching and performance management.
