We donate to food banks, partner with leaders in the fight against deforestation and hunger, design products with smaller carbon footprints, and carbon offset 100% of orders.Public Goods is looking for a passionate and well-rounded Creative Director to join our team and lead our dynamic, in-house creative and design team in developing beautiful and meaningful advertising, packaging, communications, web design and more!The ideal candidate will have a unique background and successful track record in the creative, digital and CPG space.

The Creative Director will report to our CEO and have the following direct reports: copywriter, UX/UI designer and packaging designer.

They will also oversee agency and freelance collaborators and must be able to lead confidently and maintain a supportive and collaborative environment for the entire team.

This role will also involve collaborating with our engineers, product developers and our marketing team.What you will do:* Lead, manage and mentor a team of high performing creatives and external talent through management, creative development and planning to translate our brand vision across all platforms.

Some of which are: packaging, paid advertising, branded emails, pitch decks and more!* Work closely with the CEO to build brand identity.* Consistently bring forth and deliver on ideas that shape the Public Goods brand across all media.* Direct and guide the conception and execution of any/all materials for campaigns, product launches and category expansions across all platforms.* Direct and guide the conception and execution of any/all marketing assets including photo shoots, packaging and copywriting.* Adhere to brand guidelines while identifying areas to refine and evolve the Public Goods brand.* Set an example for creative excellence that inspires and guides a team to always reach for the highest brand standards.* Provide feedback, guidance, mentorship and formal reviews for all direct reports.* Anticipate the expanding needs of a growing company and onboard additional talent as needed.Who you are:* 8+ years of experience in creative + CPG industries.* Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or other relevant field, or equivalent qualification* Have a strong working knowledge of brand development, online advertising, interactive commerce, packaging and merchandising experience and overall knowledge of the creative process.* Have passion, positivity, self-motivation and perseverance.* Advanced portfolio with relevant work examples as both an individual and team leader.* Excellent communication (verbal, written, visual); ability to propose ideas across teams, and contextualize multiple ideas in relation to one another.* A pro with Adobe Suite.

Passionate about good type, composition, and effective communication across many mediums, both digital and physical.* Nice to have
