RHL is working with a reputable state agency in DTLA, seeking an entry-level Staff Attorney to start next week. Under the general direction of the Supervising Attorney, the Staff Attorney will be responsible for the identification of legal issues, interpretation and application of law, rules, regulations and other legal authorization. The Staff Attorney will be issue spotting for missed claims, reviewing if the investigators were correct in their recommendations based upon CA supreme court decisions and local rules. The Staff Attorney will be drafting memos and decisions about appropriate disciplinary actions. Strong research and writing skills are required.
This position will be a hybrid work from home and work on-site (please do not apply if you cannot somewhat regularly commute into the DTLA office). This Staff Attorney will work for 6 months, and start the second week of May.
