Our Sales Engineering organization is seeking a leader for our global Field Architect and Field CTO organization.
As the leader of this organization, you will have the opportunity to represent and shape our product vision, strategy, and differentiated value to our GTM teams, current customers and future prospects. You will act as a thought leader within the GTM organization to help customers and future prospects understand how to utilize the power of data within their organization.
Reporting to the Global VP of Sales Engineering, and closely aligned to our Product and Sales Sr. leadership, you and your team will represent the technology merits of the Company Data Cloud to our customers and prospects. You will support strategic sales opportunities and evangelize our solutions and roadmaps alongside product and engineering. You will engage and influence a varied audience utilizing your dynamic and engaging communication and presentation skills.
You will act as a hands-on leader utilizing your experience building and managing a high-performance team of CTOs, Field Architects, and Specialists that will help accelerate our growing business. This is an excellent opportunity to build a new business unit from the ground up shaping and delivering our technology go-to market strategy.
In this role you will get to:
- Represent Company product GTM thought leadership to the field sales and SE organizations
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Sales senior leadership to create strategic roadmaps for Company technology growth
- Successfully build, inspire and retain high performing global teams of Field Architects and Domain CTOs
- Act as a Company thought leader presenting at customer Executive briefings and conferences, guiding and creating the development of white-papers, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
- Elevate the Sales Engineering organization by developing the gold standard for technical messaging and content
On Day One We will Expect You to have:
- 15+ years of industry experience acting as an industry thought leader within the data warehousing, data analytics, data science and/or cloud computing space
- Experience leading a team of senior level Field Architects/CTOs
- Industry expertise within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and/or Cloud Computing
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS software
- Outstanding and effective presentation skills to both technical and C level executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
- Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
