Beacon Hill Legal Los Angeles is assisting a law firm client with a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. BA/BS+ ABA approved paralegal certificate preferred. Candidates must be compliant with B&P 6450. The firm’s litigation practice areas include business and commercial, intellectual property, and labor and employment, among others. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience handling complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts, preferably with a mid to large size law firm. Responsibilities include:
- Project/case management
- Drafting and preparation of discovery
- State and federal ECF filings
- Summarizing depositions
- Trial preparation and trial attendance
- Legal research
- Maintaining hearing schedules, docketing, and calendaring
- Other tasks as assigned
