Director, Financial Reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Director, Financial Reporting in Los Angeles, CA. Duties:

  • Oversee revenue/cost pass back process and reporting to various other divisions
  • Oversee worldwide entitlements, royalty allocations and accruals
  • Review and approve entitlement invoices sent to collectives
  • Oversee international royalty share process
  • Review and approve monthly Cash Management and Accounts Payable clearing account reconciliations
  • Assist with Internal/External Audit, Corporate and Tax department requests, research, and deliverables
  • Review and approve journal entries
  • Manage staff and assist with ad hoc special projects
  • Take on responsibilities and make sure things are getting accomplished

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Good financial reporting background with larger company
  • Motivated and understands things quickly
  • Entertainment Industry experience preferred
  • Oracle and Cognos experience preferred
  • SAP and advanced Excel skills a plus
  • Media/entertainment not required but would be nice
  • Being in LA is helpful – will be working from home for now; When offices open back up, it will be a hybrid approach
  • This person should be able to work PST business hours; They do not need to be local, but would be nice; Working hours are 9-5:30 PST could work some overtime (9-6:30, 9-7pm) occasional early morning meetings as well
