Public Relations Coordinator

Reports to: Chief Communications Officer

Work from Home Hours (TBD): 9:30am-3:30pm (must be flexible)

Customary Work Days: M-F (must be flexible)

This is a temporary position with consideration for full-time employment.

The Public Relations Coordinator position provides support in building the brand awareness, image and positioning on a global level.

Contributing to department’s layered tactics
– from traditional and digital media, celebrity placement, influencer outreach, and event planning
– this supporting role will offer allow you to gain insights into the public relations & communication fields through a unique product category.

This is a temporary part-time role (30+ hours per week) that could be considered for extending into a regular full-time role.

This role is currently a hybrid role based in Los Angeles and working from home but that is subject to change.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Manage & maintain PR inventory utilizing the Launchmetrics program including the coordination and tracking of new collections, special projects and collaboration samples, transfer units for domestic and international needs, media and VIP pulls, returns and giftings.

Coordinate day to day global and domestic PR needs via agency as well as direct media and VIP requests.

May involve physical sample trafficking within LA.

Work closely with the Design & Marketing Manager to communicate asset needs and dissemination for all brand initiatives.

Draft and distribute internal and external media releases, images, and information.

Organize and archive global editorial and all associated reporting.

Prepare internal and external PR results reporting and project recaps.

Maintain master outreach & targeted list building database Contribute to the organization and maintenance of the Comms calendar Research and reporting on cultural topics, events, people, social, etc.

Provide Social Media support as needed to current digital team.

Ongoing budget reconciliation to ensure keeping to plan Assist the Chief Communications Director on day-to-day administrative tasks.

Work to build regional media relationships and find opportunities for direct outreach and pitching on regional, store specific levels.

Potential to contribute to Spectacle Magazine and other editorial writing opportunities.

Assist with the organization, management, and execution of press and brand events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proficiency in English.

Computer proficient including Excel and Word programs, Photoshop or similar, all Google platforms, all social platforms, and Launchmetrics preferred.

Ability to compose professional business correspondence and press releases.

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) a prerequisite 0-3 years in the PR/fashion industry University/College degree required Individual must be able to speak clearly and understandably; hear communications by telephone and in person; sit for prolonged periods.

Have the ability to travel and be physically able to work in different time zones.

Have the ability to drive and transport samples within LA.
