I have a great job opportunity with a strong parent organization looking to bring on a Senior DevOps Engineer who can build clusters in AWS using automated tools (written in Terraform) along with build clusters on-prem (having done so in manual is fine). Position is from an infrastructure centric point of view – system engineer. Requirements include – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field. – 5 years of experience working in an application development andor systems engineering environment. – At least 2-3 years of experience building systems utilizing container services in Kubernetes. – Strong scripting experience (ie. Python, Powershell and Linux shell). – Experience provisioning, configuring and deploying applications with Ansible. – Utilizing Terraform to safely and predictably create, change, and improve infrastructure as code services. – Experience in automation tools (ie. Jenkins, Gitlab). – Project planning, source code management, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and monitoring.
