You will be responsible for managing the inbound flow of product to support the company”s sales objectives.
To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks.
The ideal candidate needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a very fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations.

Essential Duties:
Prepare, edit, scan and submit purchase orders to vendors in a timely fashion in accordance with company targets and goals.
Monitor vendor back-orders and source products from alternate vendors as necessary.
Work with branch locations to ensure company goals are met with respect to the company”s receiving and put-away goals.
Monitor key data elements and notify appropriate personnel if discrepancies/anomalies are observed.
Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ”s quality improvement system.

Job Requirements:
High School graduate or G.E.D.
equivalent desired.
Prior knowledge of automobiles or mechanics preferred Willingness to be trained and learn the company”s products and procedures Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in some work environments is moderately loud.
