Draft pleadings i.e.
complaints, responses to MTD, MSJ etc.
Settlement negotiations.
Prepare and attend Depositions.
Prepare and respond to discovery and deal with discovery issues.
Attend court hearings.
Development of novel causes of action in healthcare claims.
Escalate and resolve the day-to-day issues at related to healthcare litigation.
Collaborate with staff to ensure deadlines are met.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Should have strong ability with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Must have Juris Doctorate Degree.
Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
Should have 1-2 years of experience.
Should have passed the Florida Bar.
Should preferably have experience including health care, insurance law, consumer law, medical billing issues, and managed care and Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement.
