Food Video Editor, Direct Response

We use data to make informed decisions around creative video storytelling
– rather than having the data work for us.

This means we are constantly looking at Facebook performance to optimize and streamline creative decisions to give our direct-to-consumer clients the best chance of success in the marketplace to grow their client-base.

We never settle for “good enough” and react in real-time to make creative decisions and leverage how the world responds to our creative to make it even betternn nn n nn nnWe are looking for a Direct Response Food Video Editor to join our Los Angeles team.

This position is REMOTE to start and will be expected to report into our Los Angeles, CA headquarters once COVID-19 precautions & laws allow.nn nn n nn nnThe ideal candidate is a self-starter, eager to become an innovator in the DR editing space, and will work with many different food clients to create engaging social media ads.nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities nn Create call-to-action short-form video advertisements for food clients’ social media ad campaigns on Instagram and Facebook in collaboration with So Yummy Collaborate with Food Video Producers, Creative Strategists, and other Editors on the team to edit multiple versions of video concepts Pair copy with food visuals to tell an engaging recipe story Quality control all exports to ensure the video standards are up to clients expectations Work autonomously to take initiative to pitch and ideate own iterations/refreshes on existing work to innovate the food space Create videos and custom graphics that drive consumer action to get results.

Receive constant constructive feedback on the videos’ performance, and adapt to these learnings.

Look at other brands for inspiration in DR ads, take those ideas and implement them for clients in both editing and motion graphics nn n nn nn Requirements nn BA or BFA in film studies or related field 2+ years of experience in social media editing (specifically for Facebook and Instagram); skill editing food recipe videos preferred Advanced knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, including (but not limited to) the following skills: masking, color-correcting, pacing, text placement, eye lines, motion graphics for social ads Experience in Direct Response advertising and workflow is a plus nn n nn nn First Media is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
