LAN Systems/Network Administrator – ONSITE
Los Angeles, CA – Must be open to travel in Los Angeles
(Contract or Contract-to-hire)
Responsibilities:
- Administer, installs, repair, and maintain wide area network hardware and software.
- Provide support to servers, terminals, peripherals, network nodes, wiring, Wi-Fi and ISPs.
- Perform analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation.
- Evaluates wide area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
- Coordinate installation of hardware and software by third-party vendors.
- Troubleshoot and maintain network stability.
- Maintain Wi-Fi Systems in all company locations.
- Travel from site to site, about 70% of the time
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms (including Server and Client systems).
- Deskside support capabilities are highly desired.
- Troubleshooting capabilities within a LAN environment
- Experience with various types of computer hardware and software systems.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and support of office Wi-Fi systems.
- Basic experience with Cisco Switch/Routing protocols is a plus.
- Willing to provide personal vehicle to travel to multiple sites around Los Angeles County
- Strong customer service skills and support at the Tier II level
